For this project James provided production assistance, filming and stock footage to help the director create this short documentary that was presented to the United Nations as part of a campaign to give greater protection to the Sargasso Sea as part of the UN High Seas Treaty. Aired August 2025

Shot during the Bermuda humpback migration season 2025 this showcases Bermuda's natural beauty and this amazing spectacle that happens on this unique island every Spring as the Humpback whales make a stop over from their migration from the warm Caribbean to the icy artic waters.

CNN Inside Africa episode “Zimbabwe's Electric Revolution” showcased James Doughty’s doors of African Wild Dogs in the Save Valley as part of the African Wildlife Conservation Funds use of e-bike technology to track and monitor the wild dogs.

Pilot sizzle for a documentary about Bermuda’s Black Grouper and the poaching and illegal fishing that has led to the decline in the species and Bermuda’s fish stocks. Filmed, Edited and Directed by James Doughty. Full documentary is still in production.

Show Reel from the 9 month James spend in East Africa working with conservation groups, safari lodges and wildlife sanctuaries during 2022. This was a key part of James honing his skills for extended periods in the field.

In 2022 James spent 3 weeks on the South African Sardine Run in 2022 capturing this amazing spectacle. This short won the award for best video award by the Durban Undersea Club Video/ Photo Competition, beating some highly respected underwater camera operators in the industry.
